The Creality Ender 5 S1 is a rugged cubic printer with many major improvements over the brand's older FDM models by equipping an all-metal hotend, direct drive, automatic bed leveling and a reinforced frame more robust.
Instead of being a Core XY machine, where the X and Y axes are driven together by belts, the Ender-5 S1 features a frame similar to the old but significantly smoother.
The print volume of the Ender 5 S1 is similar to that of the Ender 3 S1 (with the added bonus of 10mm in height) but is more stable on the Z axis and more compact, giving credence to the fact that the print bed moves up and down, rather than back and forth.
Operating at a blazing 250mm/s, the printer delivers quality results out of the print bed, even at maximum speed.
With the hot end being made entirely of "Sprite" metal, the Ender 5 S1 reaches temperatures of up to 300°C in order to extend the range of compatible filaments from common filaments such as PLA, TPU and PETG to more professional filaments.
materials such as ABS, PC, ASA, HIPS, polycarbonates, nylon and various carbon fiber reinforced blends.
